Donald Trump, still seething from his landslide Election defeat, has taken aim at Time magazine and accused them of bias in selecting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as their Person of the Year for 2020.
In a late night tweet-storm, Trump raged “The Person of the Year vote was rigged. The votes were illegal. Dead people voted. The voting machines stole my votes. They threw my votes in the ocean. My votes have been washing up all along the eastern seaboard. Over 50 million votes for me in the ocean!”
The complaint continued “How could they win? They haven’t done anything all year. They did nothing during the pandemic.” Trump clearly missing the irony of his “self-own” with that tweet.
Trump, who has suffered a series of defeats over the past year, most noticeably to the Coronavirus with his botched and impotent response, but also in his efforts to win the Nobel Peace Price, where he claimed…
“The Nobel Peace Prize vote was rigged. The votes were illegal. Dead people voted. The voting machines stole my votes. They threw my votes in the ocean. My votes have been washing up all along the Scandinavian seaboard. Over 50 million votes for me in the ocean!”
Trump clearly didn’t realize that the Nobel Peace Prize is never handed to someone who tries to instigate a civil war in their own country. As the head of the Nobel committee said “That’s a big no-no.”
Trump continued to tweet throughout the night, with his baseless claims…
“I should have won the Nobel”, “I should have won an Oscar and a Grammy.”
Trump has now tasked his lawyers with taking the matter to the highest court of the land, asking the Supreme Court to overturn the award, bring back the McRib, and explain the ending of “Lost.”
Responding to the suit, Supreme Justice Amy Coney-Barrett is alleged to have said “This mo-fo crazy.”
We’ll see how this one plays out, but it looks like another defeat for Desperate Don.
